РЕТ straps are applied for strapping industrial products of different weights and shapes in a wide range of industrial sectors. The unparalleled properties of polyester make it one of the best strapping materials for stacked and palleted cargo. РЕТ strap is now widely used for packaging of products in wood sawing and wood working industries (packaging of sawn timber, fiberboard, chipboard, plywood, cardboard, paper), of construction materials (bricks, tiles), glass containers etc.
All types of PET straps manufactured and supplied by SPECTA are used both for manual and automated strapping. SPECTA BRAVA and SPECTA ALTO straps are manufactured at our own enterprise, OOO VolgaStrap, based in Kostroma. The enterprise’s Quality Management System is certified in accordance with ISO-9001:2008 by DNV.

Resistance to load impact
РЕТ straps remain tight around the product for a long time. The РЕТ strap property of compensation for load impact (elongates slightly absorbing a shock and then recovers) helps keep integrity and density of packs with materials.
РЕТ straps of SPECTA BRAVA and SPECTA ALTO type resist load impact perfect, as well as packaged product deformation and dimensional change.


Environmental Stability
Polyester is environmentally stable. РЕТ straps remain tight at high air temperatures. Temperatures ranging from – 30˚С to +70˚С have not been found to influence their breaking force and shock resistance.


Strap Safety and Disposal
Thanks to its elasticity, plastic strap does not damage edges of packaged goods and the package itself (boxes, paper, film). It is injury free. When cleaning, it rolls and bends easily. Easy for disposal.
For safe use of plastic straps, always apply SPECTA tools and equipment that suit the strap. Tension should not exceed the preset operating parameters.

Elongation ranges from 12% to 18%.  
The internal diameter is 406 mm. Package of 48 rolls per pallet.
The surface is plain or embossed; the color is green or black. Upon a customer’s request, other colors may be supplied and a logo may be put on the strap surface.

Transportation distance
Number of products handling operations
Transportation type
Requirements to strap tightness and product compressibility
Exposure to sunlight, humidity and other environmental factors
Load impacts

The strap size and the number of strappings depend on the strapped package.
РЕТ straps are bound with special metal seals and also by thermal welding or friction welding. These technologies secure high reliability of strapping.
For efficient packaging site operation, it is practicable to provide additional devices, such as decoilers, scissors and balancers.
